Lawatan ke Paris May 1997

I was a bit lucky to be able to visit Paris for the 1st time. Thanks to my new friend, Yazaki san from Japan, I was able to utilise my transit in Paris Airport to visit the city. I arrived early in the morning and was only scheduled to fly back to Malaysia at night. Yazaki flown together with me from Conakry, Guinea after our meeting with Sotelgui. He planned to stay one night in Paris before flying back to Japan. Upon arrival, we travel to Paris together. After giving me some tips, we split.

The Eiffel Tower located on the Champ de Mars in Paris. Built in 1889, it has become one of the most recognizable structures in the world. The tower is the tallest building in Paris and the most-visited paid monument in the world; millions of people ascend it every year. Named after its designer, engineer Gustave Eiffel, he tower was built as the entrance arch to the 1889 World's Fair.

During its construction, the Eiffel Tower surpassed the Washington Monument to assume the title of the tallest man-made structure in the world, a title it held for 41 years,The tower has three levels for visitors. The tower has become the most prominent symbol of both Paris and France.
